Saturday 7th March

What a night at the Darts Presentation Evening

The atmosphere was electric — loud cheers, big smiles, Huge well done to every player and a massive thank‑you to the organisers. And of course, congratulations to all our winners!

Friday 13th March we had An Evening of Mediumship with Sarah Melanie Fuller, another very interesting evening with some really lovely messages passed on

From Saturday, 21st March, we introduced a £5 minimum spend for card payments.

We’d also like to remind members to make good use of their white membership cards. Visa charges are becoming very expensive, so topping up your card with cash or a Visa payment really helps. Using your card at the bar reduces the number of Visa transactions we have to process and keeps our costs down.

Just Swipe your membership card at the till to pay for drinks and the cost comes straight off your balance. You can still pay cash and give your membership number, or swipe your card as usual. Your name appears on the till so you know you’re using the right card.

Replacement cards are £5. Any questions, just ask a committee member.

Our Games Final night was held on Saturday 21st March

What a night! Our Madness & Ska evening was great the dancers were up dancing and the room was buzzing yet again .

Again our amazing bar staff were brilliant — we couldn’t do it without them! a huge welcome to our new member Hayden we are sure he will fit in perfectly, as for Anita and Lorraine “Well I have no words “

Well done to our wonderful wine winners — Clive, Mick, Ian and Antony thank you to everyone who purchased a raffle ticket towards our kids entertainment here at the club all your support make them extra special.

If you’re having a clear‑out, any unwanted clothing can make a real difference. Our Cancer Support clothes bank is located in the club car park, and every donation helps.

Community Safety – Defibrillator Now Installed

Our life‑saving defibrillator fitted at the bottom of the metal steps opposite the green. It’s there for everyone in our community — you never know when it might be needed.

dont forget your little white membership card holds a secret, it is also a pre payment card so you can add money to it as and when you wish to be spent over the bar, so great idea if you want to save a little bit towards Christmas drinks

Februarys Review

Our very own EWMC Darts Team have kicked off the year in style — winning both the league and the team knockout. A huge well‑done to the whole team!

Where does your money go? 

Raffle moneys raised from our tribute nights helps fund children’s entertainment at the club,

Our Saturday raffles also support outside charities like the Forget Me Not Hospice.

After Imogen’s lovely visit in January, we were invited to see Russell House and learn more about the amazing work the Forget Me Not Hospice does. It was a great chance to show our wonderful supporters where the money you helped raise has gone.

Every ticket makes a difference, and you can see how the funds are used on our website page.

What a night! Our ABBA tribute brought the house down — the club was buzzing, the crowd was brilliant, and the dance floor stayed full from start to finish.

Our bar staff were brilliant — we couldn’t do it without them! They jumped right in and helped get the dance floor moving. Check out the Facebook video!

Well done to our wonderful wine winners — Debbie, Jayne, Chelsea and Karen! And a huge thank‑you to everyone who bought tickets; every penny goes towards making the kids’ parties and entertainment at the club extra special.

Coming up in March

IMPORTANT –

From 6th March 2026, there will be a price increase on all products due to rising costs. We will also be introducing different prices for members and non‑members, with members receiving the cheaper rate.

Decembers review

Our Christmas raffle was again amazing the draw was videoed and added to our FB site all prizes have now been collected

Sunday 7th December at Our Craft Fayre and Santa’s Grotto. was another amazing event, a very busy fun filled afternoon and kids all loved to see Santa and the fabulous Grotto and his Elves unfortunately the grinch turned up and scared a few kids,

A huge thank you to all the amazing stalls and of course our amazing Elves and Santa, apologies from the Grinch to any upset children. a very busy day

Sunday 14th December – Christmas Panto is Dick Whittington

another fabulous afternoon at our Christmas panto “oh yes we did ” -along with reindeer food and other treats, so this year we may have a change and have a Members kids and members grandkids party and possibly a visit from Santa with a few presents

Just wanted to thank you for hosting our coach party today prior to our FA Trophy match v Halifax Town. Everybody was impressed with your lovely club, the welcoming staff, great drink prices and lovely complimentary food. Special thanks to Anita and the other lady in the kitchen and of course the Stewardess, who I forgot to ask her name, but worked hard serving our drinks.

Curlys quiz night did it again. Another fabulous night, congratulations to team 3 who won, and huge well done to all 25 teams that entered. Massive thanks again to Curly the quiz maste

New years Eve and the captains table picnics went very very well and was a great night amazing thanks to all involved

10th Jan, Imogen from Forget Me Not Hospice (Hudd’s ) was presented with a cheque for an amazing £1867.50, The nomination for the charity was from June Wright and the funds raised by our members on Saturday evenings here at the club, Thank you all for your continued support.

Januarys Tribute was the fabulous Alfie Pearson as Elvis, lots up dancing and a few participated along side Elvis ( videos are on Face book page ) another very busy night
