Here at the Elland wmc we have an amazing well maintained bowling green, where our Crown green bowls are played.

We host various competitions, tournaments throughout the year and not forgetting the fun day with a hog roast competition for anyone to participate,

During the darker evenings this is flood lit so will not stop play

You can join the bowling members at £12 for the year with free use of the green if available

Or if you are a standard club member you can use the green for a small of £1 per session as and when you wish ( if the green is available)

What a fantastic end to the month of July — we’ve WON the 2026 Rose Bowl Competition! Elland WMC Bowling Team have done it again… two years running! A brilliant result and a huge well done to everyone involved.

Sunday 5th July Fabulous day yesterday at  Round Robin competition at the club, was a Great day very well attended big thank you to  Vicki Kelly for all her hard work and of course our Clive  for organising everything xx huge well done to all winners

Sunday 21st June was our Elland WMC Classic 2026 finals day

Huge well done to the winner, Matt Gilmore beating Mark Atkinson 21-14 in the final. it was a packed out day, great bowling all day and a very well deserved winner.

On the 5th June we had our 4 qualifiers at the Elland Workings Men’s Classic.

EWMC Classic 2026 Qualifying rounds were held on the 31st May well done to all, the next round is the 5th June, please come along and show your support ( Finals day 21st June 12pm start)

28th May Our fabulous ladies bowling team had another fabulous win against Rastrick ,  So puts them 3rd in their division and they have won a fabulous 4 out of 7 games so far. Huge well done to all ladies involved

On the 24th May we hosted the Well Bowled mixed pairs, Congratulations to winners Becky and Ben. Runners up Simon and Kay. And to semi-finalists Mark and Amy & Pete and Sheridan. Well done all.

Winter league

As our club members also play in the Huddersfield winter Bowling league Division 4 that began Oct 2025 and finished on 9. Feb 2026, I was advised that there are no prize money wins as the fees for this goes towards the upkeep of the greens throughout the area

so a Huge well done to our Winter league bowlers,
